Famous NY architecture firm HWKN(Hollwich Kushner) designed the first flagship store of the ManScience brand, a company that carries a line of advanced skincare and nutritional products specifically geared towards men, in New York. Masculine and ultra-adaptable, the new store, accessible from two streets, features a hallway of products from between the two storefronts of the space.
Inside you'll find a gridded blackened steel structure, covering the two main walls and the ceiling, that is the display for the MenScience brand products. The rest of the store is covered with locally-sourced, recycled wood planks, while the colour palette of the decoration is limited to light grey, steel's natural black hue and bright yellow touches, like the tolix stool and the counter's glass top. Minimal and functional, the design emphasises the products, satisfying both the needs and the style of the company.
