Blue and Yellow

What occurs when part of an old convent is renovated, painted in white and touches of bright yellow and royal blue are strewn all over the place? We have Capri Suite, a unique boutique hotel  with just two(!) rooms! Italian architects ZETA STUDIO renovated and decorated part of the St. Micheles' convent which is situated in the heart of the ancient village of Anacapri on the island of Capri and dates back to the 17th Century.

Many elements from the old convent were preserved showing respect to the past of the building, such as some walls, that their layers of colours and materials remained as they were, stone walls, which were painted white, the wooden window shutters and the traditional tiles in the bathroom.   Grey industrial flooring was added to almost every room and the two primary colours, blue and yellow, are the stars of this hotel. Besides, the rooms' names are BlueRoom and YellowRoom.
