I'm really happy showing you today a house from Athens! This is a neoclassical building in the district of Piraeus which was renovated by the architecture practise ASKarchitects for a family of four!
The result is a bright four-story house with white painted interior and some of the original elements preserved, like the wooden staircase leading through the whole house, the checkerboard-tiled floor, the neoclassical windows and the wooden herringboned floor. Furnishing and decor are simple and functional, combined with some retro pieces and small 'colour touches', creating a friendly and cosy atmosphere! Just perfect to relax from the hectic pace of Athens' daily life!
