VEDBAEK HOUSE IV

I love white. All kind of white and all hues of white. And I love concrete. And of course, I love their combination. Today's post has both. It's about a beautifully decorated home named VEDBAEK HOUSE IV by Danish studio NORM.ARCHITECTS. The white-washed walls meet the grey concrete textured floors creating the best base of a minimal home, filled with black, grey, white and wooden furnitures. All other decorative items, lightings and curtains add the final touches, being part of the house's colour palette. Clean, bright and sharp. My favourite style.

Norwegian beauty

Did you miss my scandinavian inspired posts? Here's a small one about a bright home in Norway I spotted on 79 ideas. Lovely black, white and grey palette combined with raw-wood-details. Such a stunning balcony, too, with this breathtaking view of the pure scandinavian nature.

B&W dreams

Do you like black & white interiors? A Danish family renovated this 1923 patrician house into a white, bright and simplistic living space. All furniture and interior got an overhaul, and the result was a new and softer version - without losing the modern touch - of the old soulful house. Black and white decoration is so Scandinavian - fresh and elegant with just enough decorative items and accessories as needed.

A pencil factory restoration

How cool would it be living in an abandoned pencil factory? Well, you can get a good idea by snooping around this light and airy apartment, and an ex-pencil factory named Viking, in central Copenhagen, home of Morten Bo Jensen, chief designer at Vipp (this great black stainless steel kitchen is from his company).
