My workspace is a small office in an ordinary small room of my house. But some artists are lucky enough to have amazing inspiring ateliers, like Swedish illustrator Sara N. Bergman. Sara is one of the creatives behind Love Warriors. I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves!

It was hard to realise that this place is not a beautifully modern/vintage designed apartment but a unique restaurant! The KOOK Restaurant & Pizzeria is located in Rome, Italy and is designed by the design studio Noses Architects. Glass, iron and concrete are the main materials, that were used, creating an industrial environment.
How cool would it be living in an abandoned pencil factory? Well, you can get a good idea by snooping around this light and airy apartment, and an ex-pencil factory named Viking, in central Copenhagen, home of Morten Bo Jensen, chief designer at Vipp (this great black stainless steel kitchen is from his company).
My nightly wanderings led me to the west suburbs of Athens and somewhere in the centre of Peristeri I discovered Mind the Cup. The first thing I noticed was the façade's square industrial windows and the weathered patina metal chairs that surrounded a large round flower bed. When I caught a peek inside, I was sure that this café-bar had a very interesting story to tell.
Swedish decoration style will never disappoint me! This is how I came upon this, as the title mentions, minimal industrial chic house in Falun, Sweden, owned by Susanne Gillerås and her family. The decoration is 'a mix of different eras, different styles, minimalism, straightness, simplicity and plenty of black and white', as Susanne describes in Residence magazine.
The architectural firm Stephen Williams Associates has just completed the interior designing of 25Hours HafenCity in Hamburg, Germany. It's part of the HafenCity project, the largest development building project in Europe in the 21st century, aiming the creation of a new urban environment in Hamburg's old harbour. The decoration is inspired by the rich maritime history in the area. It features 170 suites, rooftop gym/sauna, restaurant, bar, art gallery, private wharf and a conference room.
The use of shipping containers in architecture is becoming a new trend all around the world. The reason is pretty obvious: more than 20 million are useless scattered around the planet, they are recyclable, transformable, adjustable, they are a cheap construction material and totally sustainable! Puma City, the contemporary Muvbox pop-up restaurant, Keetwonen student accommodation in Amsterdam, 2+Weekend House in Slovenia and Freitag store in Zurich are just a few examples of such structures. Starbucks brand is here to impress us with the new drive-through Container Store in Tukwila, Washington!
